Following reports of alleged hacking from a crypto company in Istanbul, the City Police Cybercrime Department found that stolen money was transferred directly from the account hacked into an account on another exchange.
The money was reportedly stolen in large cryptocurrency including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple (XRP). From this incident, finally the Turkish Police arrested 24 people allegedly involved in 13 million Turkish lira ($ 2.47 million) or hacking from a crypto company that was not named in Istanbul.
The chronology of the arrest was carried out by launching a tracking operation against the suspects. Then the police in Turkey found that people suspected of communicating through the popular online multiplayer fighting game PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).
According to the report, police raids were carried out in eight Turkish provinces, including Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Afyonkarahisar, Bursa, Edirne, Bolu and Antalya.

As a result of the operation, the police have seized 54,000 TRY or around $ 10,000 in cash and 1.3 million lira worth of cryptocurrency (around $ 246,000).
Of the 22 suspects, reportedly referred to the Istanbul Court at Çağlayan, while the other two were released by prosecutors after their legal procedures were completed at the police station.
Still in the incident, six suspects were arrested by the court, with 16 suspects released under court control.
